What the Room Score Studio does, how it produces results, and what it should not be used for.
Last updated 1 July 2026
Ideal Homeware Room Score Studio uses an automated scoring model to turn the details you enter into a soft-furnishing readiness score, a gap checklist and an accessory plan. This page explains the limits of those results.
What the studio is
- An inspiration tool for styling rooms with ordinary homeware.
- A way to see how layered and welcoming a room reads across four soft furnishing boards.
- A starting point for choosing cushions, throws, trays, lamps and baskets.
What the studio is not
The studio does not provide property advice, valuations, renovation or building guidance, fitted installation, professional interior design, health or wellbeing benefits, feng shui claims, or any guaranteed outcome. Scores are general suggestions, not professional, financial, medical or safety advice.
How results are produced
Scores are calculated from the inputs you choose using a fixed set of styling rules. The same inputs will produce the same result. Because the model only sees what you tell it, results are estimates of styling readiness and may not reflect the full reality of your space.
Using results responsibly
- Treat scores and plans as ideas to consider, not instructions.
- Use your own judgement before buying anything.
- For structural, electrical, safety or professional design matters, speak to a suitably qualified professional — that is outside what this studio offers.
